NOTES

A species of tropical flowering plant which resembles ginger in growth and habit, but is actually related to the spiderworts (the genus Tradescantia). An upright, clump-forming, tropical evergreen perennial that typically grows to 3-6’ with big spikes of blue flowers atop a tall tower of foliage.
