NOTES

Arching fronds with a nice clumping growth habit. Delicate and soft foliage withstands adverse weather. Early Hawaiians used the fronds to decorate hula altars dedicated to Laka, goddess of hula.

Indigenous to the Hawaiian islands and is also native to other parts of the tropics and subtropics

Grows mostly in dry to moderately wet habitats near sea level to over 5,800 feet
