NOTES

A vigorous, evergreen, bulbous species with narrow, dark green, strap-like leaves. The flowers are large, white, vanilla scented, hanging petals with a central membranous cup stretched between the stamens. It may be grown aquatically. Littoralis translates to 'of the seashore'.
