Corsinianum appears to be a self heading philodendron but in reality it is a monstrous climber with huge brownish green draping leaves and a pinkish-maroon underside. Thought to be the first man-made philodendron hybrid. Created in the 1880’s at the public gardens of ‘La Cascine’ in Florence, Italy and named after Prince Corsini. It is said to be a hybrid of Philodendron verrucosum and Philodendron pinnatifidum.
