NOTES

An evergreen large shrub or small tree, growing to 12' tall and wide. It flowers heavily all at once up and down the branches, then takes a break and booms again. The powder puff like blooms are pink tipped and white toward the center on an open vase shaded plant.  Bark and roots have long been used by tribes of the Amazon basin in traditional herbal medicines to treat various aliments.
