NOTES

A very large evergreen tree able to grow from 6'-100' in height and width.   The simple dark green leaves are glossy and attractive, long, narrow, lance-shaped with a pointed tip – willow-like. The cultivar ‘Alii’ has very narrow foliage and reddish new growth.

GEOGRAPHIC REGION

Malaysia, Java and Borneo

NATIVE HABITAT

It grows in lowland to hill forests, up to 1,000 m altitude.
